At Herron, curiosity fires our creativity, and we are often inspired by the people that we meet through our work – industry experts from a wide array of fields, each with their own unique perspectives and fascinating stories.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new series called ‘The Expert In…,’ where we sit down with industry leaders and in just five questions, delve into their world. We’ll share these insights with you, offering a glimpse into the minds of those shaping their industries.
In our inaugural episode, we feature Barry Whittaker-Gilbey, a composer and music producer with over 30 years of experience. As the Director of both Hodo Music and Being Human Music, Barry has composed music for major brands such as Nike and Gap, as well as film, trailers, adverts and TV.
In the interview, Barry discusses the challenges facing the music industry, shares his perspective on AI and talks about his former life as an international DJ. Plus, discover how one of his proudest career moments is tied to the iconic TV show EastEnders!
