Designing for a global marketplace
Established in 2013, Digital Law is the only UK law firm to specialise solely in online, data and cyber law. Herron was tasked by Digital Law to deliver a comprehensive rebrand and new website that would reflect the company’s specialist offering and expertise.
Through several consultations with the company and deep thinking sessions with our team, we were able to identify Digital Law’s customer landscape and segmentation. As well as being a formative stage of developing our brand vision, we were also able to highlight new business opportunities for the company.
We spent quite a bit of time with Paul and his team. We even had him in the room while on a couple of conference calls with our clients, so that he could get an in-depth perspective on the work that we do. By spending time with our team at Digital Law, Paul was able to develop a strong vision for the new branding.

Following this extensive strategic work, we crafted a new brand that reflected Digital Law’s unique position in the sector. We aligned their identity with other global digital brands — and in doing so, attracted new clients from their marketplace. Along with the new branding and website, we developed consistent language that unified their online presence, including the company’s strapline: a digital law firm that tech and law firms trust.
While our original brief was to draw more business for Digital Law in the UK, the launch of the new brand and website has resulted in opportunities for the company from around the world. The brand now clearly reflects the company’s specialist offering in a consistent manner — and elevates their presence in a dynamic and evolving market.
